We were sorry to leave Jen, Al and Kylie as we really enjoyed our time at their home and had lots of fun with them. I told Jen yesterday that in about ten years our almost three year old great niece who has beautiful blue eyes will be driving the boys crazy and they will all be running around doing whatever she wants . . . then I thought about the past six days and realized she has been doing that to me: up at six to play lego and build forts . . . she had me wrapped around her little fingers from the first day. As you know, we don’t like kids much. har-har
When one door closes another opens . . . Jen dropped us off at the train station in den Haag as she had to visit the Embassy there concerning her Canadian passport. After arriving at the Central Station, we made our way to new home for the next couple of nights, a B&B near the heart of Amsterdam. We then spent about six hours wandering around the area under a beautiful warm sunny sky and well into the evening.
