The day has finally arrived! Between getting things ready and in order to leave our business, Nellie’s work and our other personal activities for nearly four weeks there just hasn’t been much time to really be prepared. Thus, we spent a hectic last day packing and checking our lists. Ready or not, we head out on the two hours drive to the Calgary Airport for our 3:20pm departure. We have often pre-arranged for a ‘special meal’ when on long flights. This trip I had vegetarian meals and Nellie had the fruit plate. The benefits are that we always eat first and also eat a lighter meal which is preferable when sitting for such along time. KLM offers a full range of in flight entertainment and you can choose from over 100 television programs, several dozen movies, music and games. Nice flight.
